Western Railway Museum
Western Railway Tour
Meet near the Starbucks at 2155 Towne Center Plaza (off Jefferson Blvd) in West Sacramento at 10:00, leaving at 10:30. After a leisurely drive down the river, we'll have lunch in Rio Vista (location TBD). We should get to the museum in the early afternoon, in plenty of time to catch the 2:00 interurban train for a fifty-minute ride through the grasslands. There's also the option of taking a fifteen-minute ride on the streetcar that runs every half hour. Lots to do, so folks can spend as much or as little time at the museum as they'd like.
