Pacific Grove Run

We are looking forward to our Pacific Grove run starting Friday, 2/24. We will meet at 9:30 in the Starbucks parking lot in the Town Center Plaza in West Sacramento. There are a few nearby gas stations, including Arco on the other side of Jefferson off Lake Washington, or a Chevron closer to the 50 on Jefferson near the exit, and another smaller Arco just past that Chevron, going towards our meeting point, and another Chevron south on Jefferson from our meeting point before Gregory.

Attached is the run map, please print out if you need a paper copy. The plan is to leave Starbucks at 10am.

It will take approximately 1 hour 21 minutes to get to the first stop at Westley Rest Area, we will take about 15 minutes at this stop for a biobreak.

The next stop is Casa de Fruta, it will take approximately 1 hour to get to this destination. Here we will be able to get lunch, snacks, and have a biobreak. We will have about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how busy it is, how many of us are getting food at the deli.

The next leg of the trip will take about 1 hour again, so we should get to the motel around 2:15-2:30 depending on traffic.

Some of you may want to peel off at the wharf rather than going straight to the hotel.

For dinner, if we want to do several small group reservations at the Beach House, let me (renaraiza.noyes@gmail.com) know and I can work with a few of you to reserve for smaller groups. Last time we were there they were only doing the sunset special for locals, so maybe we want to try somewhere else.

Saturday plans are TBD, typically we go south to Nepenthe, depending on road conditions, but let us know if you have some other ideas, or some may want to just hang out in Monterey and be tourists.

Saturday evening we can try to reserve at Fishwife, if open. I will need a head count for those interested in a group dinner.
